This is one of 2 cemeteries located on the Lucas property. They are both African American Cemeteries, I do not know the location of the other cemetery but it was close by. Both cemeteries were destroyed with the making of Wheeler Reservoir. Information was taken from Wheeler Reservoir Cemeteries. I can not locate the 2 cemetery but in the Book Tombstone Inscriptions of Limestone County Alabama by Linda H. Smith. this cemetery is called the Lucas #3 cemetery.
