To reach the Leavitt Cemetery follow Leavitt Mt. Road to the end of the 2 stonewalls paralleling the road (about 1/4 mile). Where the walls end, turn right and proceed approximately 100 yards to the cemetery. The Leavitt Cemetery is 32' square and is enclosed by granite, fieldstone walls. The Town of Meredith maintains the Leavitt Cemetery as part of a stipulation of Thomas L. Leavitt's will, whose parents are buried in this cemetery. (Town Trust Funds for this cemetery?).
