The Leavitt Family Cemetery (Meredith tax map coordinates R17-33) is located on the north side of the field in Lot 15 approximately 150 yards from Chemung Road. This cemetery is 20' x 25' in size and is enclosed by granite, fieldstone walls topped with cut stones and has no gate opening. This cemetery has a few standing gravestones with the rest lying flat and/or broken. There are 4 known, marked burials within this cemetery. (This information was obtained from the Town of Meredith.) As of 9-16-2017, there is no longer a field. The cemetery is in the woods.
