Description

Unable to find any marked graves anywhere in the vicinity after looking for over 45 minutes. Note by Raul N. Longoria Based on my vague recollections from the 1950's, this cemetery had only 3 or 4 graves with wooden crosses. The cemetery was on my maternal grandmother's land and was very small, only about 10 feet by 10 feet; it was enclosed by barbed wire. In the 1970's, after my grandmother's land had been partitioned and parcels divided among her children, one of my aunts ended up with this parcel of land and her husband cleared the land, including the cemetery site, and converted it to pasture land. There were no traces of the cemetery left. The persons buried there are believed to be: 1. Saturnino Ruelas Fuentes (husband of Calixta Villarreal) 2. Pedro Ruelas (son of Saturnino and Calixta), born October 1897, died 28 September 1930 3. ____ Gonzalez (grandson of Eleno Gonzalez, a contract laborer and farmer.
