This cemetery was on the Vats Plantation owned by the Moore family. It was in the Rocky Point Section of Pender County near the Northeastern portion of the river from a point of rocks at the sharp bend of the river there. The location was taken from the county road marker near the crossing of 177 and 210. The marker states that it was 3 miles southeast of this location. If someone has a better location of the plantation, I would be happy to move the marker. The vault on the plantation was described as ruined by the year 1909. The Moore family were buried together. These photos will be paper graves since the exact location is unknown. However, it would be appreciated to document this cemetery for historical purposes.
