Description

On December 6, 1917 Halifax, Nova Scotia was decimated by a massive explosion, the largest man-made explosion prior to the nuclear age. This cemetery is one of three or four in the city that contains the graves of between 300 and 400 Catholic victims, though many no longer have grave markers. This cemetery also contains the graves of 19 (Catholic) victims of the Titanic.
