The cemetery is at the rear of St Matthew's Catholic Church, at the end of Chapel Lane. On a sloping site, Jamberoo Catholic Cemetery contains monuments from as early as 1848. Unfortunately, a fair number of the old stones have fallen and broken, whether due to subsidence or vandalism or both it is hard to say. Weathering has also taken it's toll and many are very difficult to read.
