The old section of Grovelawn Cemetery is one of the largest burial grounds of early settlers in Madison County. To historians and genealogists, this section is better known as Old Falls Cemetery or Pendleton Cemetery. Located on the east side of bustling Pendleton Avenue, it is carefully maintained by the Grovelawn Cemetery Association which has newer, more modern sections on the west side of the avenue.
