Grand Centre Memorial Park cemetery was established in the early 1960's, near the town of Grand Centre on the SW quarter of section 35, township 62, range 2, West of the 4th Meridian. Since that time the town has been incorporated as a city and is now called Cold Lake. The City of Cold Lake is in the Municipal District of Bonnyville in northeastern Alberta. The cemetery is very well maintained. Grand Centre Memorial Park shares a fenced area with Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery. It is immediately north of the Catholic Cemetery. Grand Centre Memorial Park, which was established in 1992, is only thirty per cent developed. It has approximately 1.4 acres of land available for development, meaning there is room for 675 additional burial plots that the plan estimates would take 30 years to fill.
