Also known as "Treadwell Cemetery". The Baptist Church burned in March 1916 and was not rebuilt. The church lot was deeded to the cemetery by the church officials and the cemetery has been greatly improved by the setting out of trees. The cemetery is still called The Croton Union Cemetery. In 1896, the name was changed from Croton to Treadwell. This was done because of an order received from the Post Office Department because of Croton on the Hudson.
