The Cone Cemetery was part of the Estate of Moses Cone and his wife Bertha Lindau. In the 1940's it because part of the National Park Service for the Blue Ridge Parkway through acquisition from the Cone Hospital System. There are only four graves in the cemetery, all of them part of the Cone Family. The cemetery sits on a Hillside overlooked the Estate. The cemetery is surrounded by a large fenced in area.
