Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (along with Fair View Cemetery) is a public cemetery owned and operated by The Fair View Group. Cedar Lawn Cemetery was physically located in Roanoke County prior to annexation to the city in 1976, therefore, many death certificates will refer to it as being in the county. Peters Creek Cemetery (sharing a border to the west of Cedar Lawn) is not affiliated with the Fair View Group.
