Description

The grave of Mary Watt, who died in July 1888, on Marandoo is marked by an single monument. The grave is enclosed by a welded pipe fence with concrete footings. There is a visual link to the remains of the original homestead as well as to the newer homestead built in 1904 to the east-south-east. The monument, a Calvary cross of Sicilian white marble, is now broken. There were two children also buried on the property closer to the road on the rise above, to the north of the creek bank.
