It is enclosed with a stone wall on the south and west boundary and granite posts and rails on the north boundary. There are about 3,800 burials with 2,948 inscribed stones and four fieldstones. There are 105 Civil War veterans in this cemetery identified on their gravestones and probably others whose stones are not marked. Nine small farm cemeteries have been removed to this cemetery: WK006, WK117, WK118, WK119, WK121, WK141, WK146, WK154 and WK155.
