It was reported quite a few years back that The cemetery in 9th\n Avenue Alberton North \nwas only cemetery within a traffic circle in the Southern Hemisphere\n\nPeople buried in the Cemetery: \n Child Smit believed to have died along with Cornelius Floris Johann Meyer in the snowstorm of 1851. \n Krogh baby- Child of Petrus Johannes Krogh and his wife Anna Johanna Krogh, first butcher in Alberton. \n- Date unknown. \n Andries Delport – died 1910 aged 5 months. \n Jakobus Johannes van der Merwe( cousin of Andries Delport) – died 1906 aged 9 months. \n Child Steenkamp – Age and date of death unkown. \n Katrina (surname unknown, cousin of Jakobus Johannes van der Merwe and Andries Delport) – died \n1906 \n Gerhardus Hartman, Dairy owner who lived at no 30A Fifth Ave. – died 1910
