Dorothy Lea Burton

MARLOW - Graveside service for Dorothy Lea Burton, 75, Marlow, will be at
10:30 a.m. Friday at Marlow Cemetery with George Weeaks officiating.

Mrs. Burton died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at a Marlow care center.

Arrangements are by Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, Marlow.

She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Frederick, to Elisha F. Morris and Mattie
Ann Frazier Morris. She married Robert Warren Burton on June 6, 1969, in
Odessa, Texas. He died Aug. 3, 1983. She was a homemaker and lived in the
Sterling/Comanche area for 35 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Rankin, Marlow; three sons: Steven
Berry, Duncan; Wilton Berry, Norman; and Buddy Booth, Box Elder, Texas;
three brothers: Burly Morris, San Antonio; L.W. Bishop, Bethany; and Gene
Bishop, Salem, Ore.; a sister, Glenda Blackmon, Bethany; a special friend,
Gladys Rutledge; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
