Stanley William Anthony

- Stanley William Anthony, 89, of Calvin Circle, Kissimmee, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002. Born in Harrisburg, Pa., he moved to Kissimmee from New London, Ohio, in 1954. He was a retired building contractor. He was a past member of the Orange Blossom Lodge No. 80, F.& A.M., a past worthy patron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 62, both of Kissimmee; and was active and held many official positions with the Scottish Rite and the York Rite Bodies in Orlando. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee. Survivors include his wife, Doris M. Anthony; daughters, Barbara Alderman, Kissimmee; Kathy Vaughn, Jacksonville; son, Stanley William Anthony Jr., Lakeland; sister, Mildred Ashenfelter, Kent, Ohio; brother, Ronald Anthony, Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held Aug. 18, at the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with the Rev. Donna Heck officiating. Masonic ritual was at the chapel, courtesy of Memorial Lodge No. 17, F.& A.M., Orlando. Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, Kissimmee, was in charge of arrangements.
