Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she was founder of the Blood Bank in Poinciana,
first responder of the Poinciana Fire Department, and a member of
Poinciana Bowling and Shuffleboard of Poinciana, VFW Auxiliary,
Poinciana, and the League of Catholic Women. Survivors include her sons,
John Glutz, Poinciana, Dennis Glutz, Swartz Creek, Mich., Michael
Glutz, Flint, Mich.; and three grandchildren. A funeral Mass was
celebrated March 27 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Poinciana, with
Father Fernando Gill officiating. Pallbearers were Henry Blackwood,
James Schonefeld, Mark Gervia, Anton Pastier, John Earley and Cutbert
George. Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of
arrangements.
