Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he was a welder and tool manufacturer. He
was a member of the Church of God in St. Cloud. Survivors include his
wife, Angela Martinez; daughters, Luz Roldan, both of St. Cloud; Lydia
Martinez; stepdaughters, Mary Lebron, both of Puerto Rico; Ada Mendez;
stepsons, Joseph DeJesus, both of New York, N.Y.; Daniel DeJesus,
Florida; brothers, Domingo Martinez, Puerto Rico; Ernesto Martinez and
Pascual Martinez, both of New York, N.Y.; six grandchildren, 17
step-grandchildren, three grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren,
and one step great-great grandchild. Services were held Sept. 28 at the
chapel of Fisk Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. DeRosa Aviles of the
Church of God officiating. Interment was at Mount Peace Cemetery, St.
Cloud. Fisk Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Cloud, was in charge of
arrangements.
