Osceola Regional Hospital in Kissimmee after an extended illness. Born
June 30, 1917, in Mount Pleasant, Ark., he moved to the area from
Scottsboro, Ala., in 1987. He was a retired mechanical technician for a
copper and brass company in Scottsboro, an Army veteran of World War II
and a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He was a member
of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Fraser
King; daughter, Carole King Sims, both of Kissimmee; sister, Dorothy
King Jeffery, Batesville, Ark.; two grandchildren and and three
great-grandchilden. Services and burial were held in Batesville, Ark.
Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of local arrangements.
