- Donald David Mason, 81, of 2100 Pleasant Hill Road, Kissimmee, died
Aug. 18. Born March 6, 1915, in Toledo, Ohio, he moved to the area from
Tucson, Ariz., in 1977. He was a retired tool and die maker in the
automotive industry, a Navy veteran of World War II, an avid bowler with
the Methodist Men's League in Toledo, Ohio, and various senior leagues
in Kissimmee. He was a volunteer with the Council on Aging in Kissimmee
since 1984 where he was a driver for the Meals on Wheels Program.
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Berger, Jensen Beach, Joyce
Woodward, Ottawa Lake, Mich., Pamela Phillips, Rocky Mount, N.C., Arlee
Marquette, Manteca, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 19
great-grandchildren. Services were held Aug. 21 at Grissom Funeral Home
with Dan Consla, chaplain of Hospice of Central Florida, officiating.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Florida or the Council
on Aging in Osceola County. Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in
charge of arrangements.
