area from New York, N.Y., in 1989. She was a diet aide for Montefiore
Hospital in New York. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic
Church where she was a member of the Spanish choir and the prayer group.
Survivors include her husband, Feliberto "Fil" Velazquez, Kissimmee;
daughter, Patricia Medina; sons, Phillip and Thomas Velazquez, all of
New York; sisters, Rosa Gonzale and Aida Perez, both of Puerto Rico,
Esther Cangiano, New York; brothers, Juan Cangiano, Puerto Rico, William
Cangiano, New York; and four grandsons. Mass of Christian burial was
held Feb. 3 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Father Fabian G.
Gimeno officiating. Burial was held in Osceola Memory Gardens,
Kissimmee. Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of
arrangements.
