- Constantine L. "Connie" Downs, 70, of 3072 Stillwater Drive, Kissimmee, died Jan. 29. Born in Havana, Cuba, he moved to the area from New Rochelle, N.Y., in 1991. He was an oil refinery procurement clerk. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Vera T. Downs, Kissimmee; son, Dave D. Downs, New York, N.Y.; daughter, Dianalicia Lewis, Queens, N.Y.; sisters, Alicia M. Downs Silvera, Hartsdale, N.Y., Lourdes Herbert, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and one grandson. A Mass of Christian burial was held Feb. 3 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Kissimmee, with Father John M. McCormick officiating. Conrad and Thompson Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of arrangements.
