The deepest sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to Mr W. S. Jago of Essex street, Masterton and relatives, in the death early yesterday morning of Mrs Jago, who suffered a heart seizure. The late Mrs Jago, who was very popular and an accomplished singer, had resided in Masterton for over 25 years and was 47 years of age. She was a daughter of Mrs Barclay and the late Mr Barclay, who formerly were well-known residents of Masterton. Mrs Barclay now resides in Waitara, where a brother of deceased, Dr Leslie Barclay, is in practice. The late Mrs Jago, who was of a quiet disposition, took ill about mid-day on Saturday, when medical attention was summoned. She had, however, previously suffered from heart trouble. A sad circumstance of her death is the fact the Mr Jago, who is secretary of the W.F.C.A., Ltd., has himself been seriously ill for some time past. There is a family of three, one daughter (Miss Mary Jago) and two sons (Mr max and Douglas Jago). The funeral will leave the residence of Mr E. G. Eton, Cornwall Street, to-morrow at 10.30 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
