Tyson Kemp Ramsay was born January 11, 1960 in Monticello, Utah. Tyson was the last baby born in the old hospital by the golf course. Two days later all the patients in the hospital were packed up and moved to the new San Juan County hospital a block from our house. When Tyson was in the sixth grade he wrote: The Story of My Life Staring - My dad, mom, Dan, Kevin, Larry, Robin, Aleta, Sheila, Delta, Jason, Erwin, Clifton, Regan, Special star - Tyson My First Five Years: I was born in Monticello, Utah January 11, 1960 in the old hospital and was moved to the new one. I was born at 7:40 a.m. and it took 7 hours and 40 minutes for me to be delivered. I weighed 7 pounds 3 1/2 ounces and was 20 inches long. After my first birthday I started talking and walking, but I had a hard time walking. When my grandmother was holding me and I didn't want her to, I said my first word which was, "let go!" On my second and third birthday I got trucks and cars. When I was four I got what I always wanted and that was a cowboy set. When I was five I started kindergarten. School Days: When I was five years old I started kindergarten. I was the smallest one in my class. My teacher was Mrs. Buckmiller. She was a nice teacher too. What I like to do most of all was to play with trucks and cars, and another thing I liked to do was to drink milk and eat graham crackers on the red rug while our teacher would read us a story. First Grade: In First Grade my teacher was Mrs. Redd, but she wasn't as nice as Mrs. Buckmiller because she would always throw my best friend Gary Torres and me out in the hall. And there is another coincidence because I am still the smallest one in my class. Second Grade: My second grade teacher was Mrs. Hyde, and she was the nicest teacher I have ever had because she would always give me candy bars. Once she gave me a birthday party in class and she gave me some pencils and a new ball that said, "Happy birthday Tyson" on it. In second grade I was the smallest and fastest one in my class. Third Grade: My third grade teacher was Mrs. Hyde and she was mean. Once the janitor came in the room and I was just joking with him and Mrs. Hyde came in and thought I was sassing him so she took me up to the principal's office and I got a spanking. In third grade my best friend was Gary Torres. Fourth Grade: My fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Adams and she was kind of nice. In my other teacher's room (Mrs. Lyman's) I had fun at the end of the year at the poetry festival. The poem I had was "The Crocodile," by Lewis Carrol. My best friend in the fourth grade was Jay Booth. Fifth Grade: My fifth grade teacher was Mrs. Parry and sometimes she was nice and sometimes she was mean. When I was in music I tipped over my chair and Mrs. Bailey took me up to the office and I got a spanking. I didn't have much fun in fifth grade except with my best friend Steven Herrera. Sixth Grade: My sixth grade teacher was Mr. Livingston and he was pretty nice all but once when I got sent out in the hall and I went to sit down and then I felt a slap on my head and it was Mr. Livingston. He thought I sassed him, but I didn't. My best friend in sixth grade was Dale Hunt. My Family: The members of my family are Dad, Mom, Dan, Kevin, Larry, Aleta, Robin, Sheila, Delta, Jason, Erwin, Tyson, Clifton, and Regan. Dad: My dad is about 5 foot 11 inches. And he likes to play football. His favorite show is the circus. Every day he goes to the farm and works. And he also has a job with the state. Mom: She is kind of small and she likes to watch soap operas and during the day she does taxes and office work. With the money my dad earns she spends it and more. Dan: He is about as tall as my dad. He likes to play football and basketball. He has two airplanes that are powered by gas that you control with a hand switch. His favorite food is Franco American spaghetti. Kevin: He is about 5 foot 5 inches and he goes to college at BYU. He likes to play football and basketball. He likes to drive tractor on the farm. He is 23 years old and his favorite food is steak. Larry: He is 5 foot 7 inches and he likes basketball and tennis and he jumps out of planes skydiving. He likes all foods but sauerkraut and tomatoes. Aleta: She likes to play tennis and soccer and she likes to watch most sports. She goes to college at BYU. She lives in Provo, Utah with her husband, Dan. Robin: She is 5 foot 3 inches and she lives right next door to us. She likes steak and fish. Her favorite sports are basketball and football, but she doesn't play. She just watches, and she plays tennis. Sheila: She is engaged to Larry. She likes tennis and her favorite food is fish and steak. When she gets married she is going to live in Boise, Idaho. Delta: She is 16 years old and she is about 4 foot 10 inches. She likes fish, steak, venison, and tacos. She likes to read comic books. And she likes to go out with boys. Jason: He is about 5 foot 2 inches and he is fifteen years old. He likes mostly meat foods and he likes venison most of all. He plays football, basketball and most other sports. But one thing about him he always picks on Erwin, Tyson, Clifton, and Regan. Erwin: He is about 4 foot 10 inches and is 14 years old. He likes all sports and likes to play football, basketball, tennis, and most other sports and likes to play them. some of his favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, steak, venison, and fish. Tyson: He is 12 years old 4 foot 3 inches and 58 pounds. He likes all meat foods and he mostly likes venison. He likes to watch and play all sports. Clifton: He is 8 years old and 3 foot 10 inches. He only likes a few sports like kickball and warball. His favorite food is steak. Regan: He is the smallest and the youngest one. He is about 3 foot 2 inches tall. He likes a lot of foods, but his favorite is artichokes. He likes kickball, warball and a few other sports. John Henry Tyson The Great Future Years: First I would like to graduate from the sixth grade, and then in seventh grade I hope to have a good year because it will be my first year in high school. When I am about 14 years old I want to get a 22 rifle. And when I am about 15 I want to get a minibike or a motorcycle. When I am about 17 or 18 I want to get a car. I will want to graduate from high school and then go to college at BYU. then I will go on my mission. When I get back from my mission (that's when I am about 21 years old) I want to get married and have a big family (about 10 or 12 kids). I either want to be an airplane pilot, a policeman, or a famous sport player, but most of all I want to be a lawyer. I want to live to about 70 or 80 years old. Pets, Hobbies, and Interests: Pets: All of the pets we have ever had are cats and dogs. The names of the cats are Tomasine, Blackie, Tuffy Tom, Porsia. All of the dogs we have ever had are Jet, Lucky, Hope, Cocoa, Tex, Buffy, Midge, Rick, Lilly, Spike. Hobbies: My favorite hobbies are collecting weird shaped bottles, collecting traps, and collecting bullets. Interests: My interests are: playing football, basketball, baseball, and most other sports, and I like dogs. I also have an interest in bellbottoms, long hair, and most of all Cute Girls. The Worst Time of My Life: The worst time of my life was when I got my tonsils out. Before I got them out my mother said if I would be good she would give me my allowance doubled, and then they gave me a sleeping pill, but that didn't work because I kept talking about my allowance. so they gave me a sleeping shot but that didn't work either. Finally they gassed me to sleep. then they took me to the operating room and took my tonsils out and when I woke up my throat was so sore, and the only thing I could eat about was ice cream. Tyson went on a mission to Winnipeg, Canada. He attended Southern Utah State College. Tyson married Elizabeth Grindstaff August 23, 1985 in the Salt Lake Temple. They met in Cedar City, Utah when he was watching her do gymnastics. Tyson attended Law School at the University of Mississippi and is a Lawyer living in Las Vegas. Our whole family (except Kevin, who was on a mission) got all dressed up and went down to the Church to have our family picture taken for our ward yearbook. It was a fundraiser for a new organ for the chapel. Shirley held Kevin's senior picture in her lap. We were all wearing copper bracelets from Arizona. They were supposed to guard against arthritis, but they turned our wrists green.

Tyson Kemp Ramsay was 13 years old when Vietnam War: The last United States combat soldiers leave South Vietnam. The Vietnam War, also known as the Second Indochina War, and in Vietnam as the Resistance War Against America or simply the American War, was a conflict that occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. It was the second of the Indochina Wars and was officially fought between North Vietnam and the government of South Vietnam. The North Vietnamese army was supported by the Soviet Union, China, and other communist allies; the South Vietnamese army was supported by the United States, South Korea, Australia, Thailand and other anti-communist allies. The war is considered a Cold War-era proxy war by some US perspectives. The majority of Americans believe the war was unjustified. The Space Shuttle was a partially reusable low Earth orbital spacecraft system operated by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as part of the Space Shuttle program. Its official program name was Space Transportation System (STS), taken from a 1969 plan for a system of reusable spacecraft of which it was the only item funded for development. The first of four orbital test flights occurred in 1981, leading to operational flights beginning in 1982. In addition to the prototype whose completion was cancelled, five complete Shuttle systems were built and used on a total of 135 missions from 1981 to 2011, launched from the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. The Shuttle fleet's total mission time was 1322 days, 19 hours, 21 minutes and 23 seconds.
