These six members of the Co. G. 118th infantry 30th Division with 31 other members of the company who are buried elsewhere were killed in action and 103 others were wounded in Belgium and in France from Sept 29th to Oct 18, 1918 when the 30th Division broke the Hindenburg Line, capturing Bellicourt, Montbrehain, becquigny, Brancourt, Molain and Baux Andigny and crossed the La Selle River,
