Ada Mae Judd was born August 25, 1940 in Kanab, Utah to Daniel Merlon Judd and Lisania Mae Judd. She was born prematurely at 7½ months and lived 4 days, passing on August 25, 1940 at the hospital in Kanab, Utah. Her mother died shortly after the birth of Ada Mae, leaving 9 children, the eldest 14 and the youngest 2, and a bereaved husband who was unable to take care of the children. Thus, the other children ended up living with other family members: Luella Mae - ? (Does anyone know where she went?) Darlos Louise - ? (Does anyone know where she went?) Veldon Merlon, Ramona, Arlene, Ira Burton, and Erwin Church Judd lived with their grandfather, Daniel Knapp Judd and Elizabeth Evelyn Church Judd. Since Lizzy died just 3 years later, Daniel ended up raising them by himself. Terrence Ray went to live with his uncle, Kenneth Church Judd. Wendell went with Dan's brother Carlos Wandel Judd.
