Message to our posterity

Be thankful to our savior each day. Follow him by staying faithful to your baptismal covenants. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his modern-day church and is the path to peace on this earth and exaltation in the world to come. Please live worthily to enjoy the many blessings of the priesthood. Our limited knowledge of the plan of salvation gives us peace in this life and will comfort you as life unfolds. God communicates to his children through his modern-day prophet and through the holy ghost as he answers our prayers. Don't get confused about the truthfulness of the gospel by expecting perfection from any mortal. Church leaders are inspired and strive to do their best but only Christ was perfect. I have seen miracles in the lives of my parents, have witnessed miracles in my personal life, and in the lives of my children. I know for certain that God is mindful of us. Don't get caught up in the argument of men, for their wisdom is foolishness to God. Instead, hold on to the basic principles of revealed truth and follow the current prophet. My hope for each descendant is that you will have a strong relationship with our savior, live a happy life, and hold to the iron rod. My hope is that each descendant will be raised in a loving, gospel-centered home and become the type of loving, faithful parents that all children deserve.
