South side: Centre Sacred to the memory of following Joseph Cator of this Parish 14 January 1818 aged 84. His widow Diana 14 May 1829 aged 72. John his eldest son 20 August 1858 aged 76. Albermarle his second son 26 November 1795 aged 12. Bertie Cornelius his 5th son an Admiral 23 July 1864 aged 76. Thomas his 6th son Rector of Kirk Smeaton and Vicar of Womersley, Yorkshire 24 August 1864 aged 74. Diana his eldest daughter 5 April 1817 aged 33. Elizabeth his 2nd daughter 10 June 1815 aged 23. Also Elizabeth Louisa wife of the said John died 11 February 1847 aged 59 and their eldest daughter Emily Ann died April 1815 aged 3. Sophia wife of said Bertie Cornelius 15 November 1862 aged 74. Also 2 sisters of Diana wife of Joseph Cator Jane BRADFORD widow died 24 August 1796 aged 46. Mary DELAFIELD widow 11 March 18(?08) aged 51. South side west: Peter Cator 7th son of said Joseph Cator died 1 May 1873 aged 77. Martha wife of said Peter Cator 9 June 1872 aged 73. Diana youngest daughter of said Peter Cator died 3 October 1888 aged 63. Charles Oliver Frederick Cator son of the previously named Rev Thomas Cator 10 December 1876 aged 40. The Lady Louisa Frances daughter of John 7th Earl of Scarborough wife of the said Reverend Thomas Cator 7 January 1885 aged 90. West end: Bertie Cornelius Cator Lieut RN eldest son of Bertie Cornelius and Sophia his wife mentioned on the South side of this Tombstone died 26 August 1842 while on service in the China Sea aged 25. He was buried in Golden Island near Nankin, China.
