My Grandmother Snow's Life Story by La Prele Snow Finocchio

Contributor: SouthPawPhilly Created: 2 years ago Updated: 2 years ago

My Grandmother Snow's Life Story by La Prele Snow Finocchio For years I could not understand why my grandmother Sally Snow had no face, for it had been destroyed by cancer. But she was like an angel. . . I do not remember her ever complaining, but always pleasant; serving wherever she could willingly. All the children in the neighborhood loved her for she was so willing to prepare tea parties for them. She never went far from home for people would stare, babies and children cried because they did not know her. The babies who knew her loved her as she was . . . no fear. There must have been pain, but if there was she never let me know. Now I see the probability it was "the Face of Christ" she had. Because in her spirit of love, she told me: "God never gives you a burden that he does not give you a back strong enough to carry it". Remember the scriptures tell us, "our burden is light". What a blessing she was to many in her example of patient love.

His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He is best known to the general public for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation". He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect", a pivotal step in the development of quantum theory.
Sarah Snow (Ellison) was 47 years old when The British passenger liner RMS Titanic sinks in the North Atlantic at 2:20 a.m., two hours and forty minutes after hitting an iceberg. RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early hours of 15 April 1912, after colliding with an iceberg during its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City. There were an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew aboard, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history.
