PERU, Ind. - Rose M. Wiedenhoeft, 85, Millers-Merry-Manor Nursing Home, formerly of 62 S. Fremont St., died at 4:15 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28,1999, at the facility. Born Feb. 18,1914, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Benn) Tully, who have both preceded her in death. On Nov. 16, 1940, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Peru, she married Daniel F. Wiedenhoeft, who preceded her in death on May 6, 1985. She was a member of the Peru Fireman's Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Daniel Wiedenhoeft, Kokomo; a daughter, Ellen Sherrick, Peru; a brother, Victor Tully, Peru; two sisters, Eleanor Hill, Pensacola, Fla.; Mary Margaret Sheets, Lucerne; five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Father Philip Haslin will officiate. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Tuesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., Peru.
