OAKES - Passed peacefully away after a long illness on January 25, 1945, at her residence, 10 Waverly Ave., New Town, Eleanor, beloved wife of Walter G. Oakes, and loving mother of D.W., W.A., Sig K. G. Oakes (AMF), Sgt R. A. Oakes (AIF), C.J. Oakes, Amy (Mrs H. G. Spooner), and Muriel (Mrs L. J. Broadby).
OAKES - Interment of the late Mrs Eleanor Oakes, of 10 Waverly Ave., New Town, will take place at Cornelian Bay Cemetery on Monday next, 29th inst., at 3.30 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. James' Church, New Town, at 3 pm.
