FROM MY PEARSON JOURNAL Roger Rhodes Pehrson Just Thoughts Golden Moments_ When 2 tiny arms wrap around your neck and he says I Love You.- When someone helped along the way, glows a special thank you in their eyes- When an animal wags his tail- When you see a bad truck wreck and learn the driver walked away.- When a silent room fills with Organ music,-Watching the ocean waves calmly break on the shore- Witnessing an extraordinary sunset in Yuma, and the clouds in Washington- Summer mornings on the water in the boat- Stretching your hand out to a curious fish while Scuba Diving- enjoying the peacefulness of the silent deep water- The beauty of Lake Chelan in Washington. I Like: The desert at night- Full moons- powerful trucks- the smell of burnt diesel fuel- the mountains at daybreak- Dogs- Birds. I Don't Like: impolite people- bright lights on cars at night- dopers- pot smokers- Harlots- High winds-blowing dust- backaches- chest pains- tired- ½ done anything-(except steak and vegetables)- a job never finished- Loud women I Like: Rose- Trees- clean skies- Fish that bite- Boats- Trucks- nice cars – Loud Thunder- Lighting- Pork Chops- Steaks- Lobster- Salinas CA- Monterey Bay- New row crops growing- cotton fields. I Don't Like: Pain- intensive care units- clogged nasal passages- headaches- attention when sick- negative attitudes- slow leaks in tires- hard to close doors- thieves- liars- phoney people- insecure people- credit card- phones that don't work- know-it-all people. I Like: Oil painting- good-fitting underwear- Seat Belts- Jake Brakes- new shoes- quiet time alone. They that Love beyond the world, cannot be Separated by it! Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the sea. There is no fireside that doesn't have one empty chair. It is natural to die as to be born. This world is the land of the dying- The next is the land of the living. I ask one thing- NO TEARS FOR ME, PLEASE!! Every wonderful delightful thrill, experience and emotion life has to offer has been mine. No tears please, and dreams through the years. I lived a goodly span of time and enjoyed them all. I've laughed a lot, cried a little. Many victories were mine, and they gave life zest. Life was good. Think of the happy times. No man really dies as long as there is one person in world who remembers him with a smile. Someday while gazing upon the calm sea and a gentle breeze comes up- Know I am there with you. I have been dying ever since I took my first breath so please, no tears for me-for I have gone before you to prepare the way. We shall meet again! All who have loved, and who have been loved have earned a piece of immortality. God is just, for He knows what is truly in the heart. Please don't try to do His job- let Him judge me. Earthly time passes so fast. Prepare yourself to meet Him face to face. I've known for quite some time my time was to be shortened, but spared you the details, don't condemn me for this- Remember me as one who believes in the L.D.S. Faith and all the teachings are true. God lives, Jesus is the Christ. We lived in spirit before this life and there is 3 Degrees of Glory in the hereafter. I seal my Testimony in my parting of this mortal life. God be with you till we meet again.
