My Dad: Richard Lee Gordon

Contributor: finnsh Created: 1 year ago Updated: 1 year ago

My dad is a people person. There wasn't any place we went where he wouldn't stop and talk to someone. When he saw someone he knew, he would greet them with a big smile and a hearty greeting. He would stop briefly (or sometimes longer) and ask about their lives. It didn't matter if he hadn't seen the person since high school or childhood (or even if he couldn't remember the person's name), he would have a conversation an the person would leave feeling better about themselves. (This is one of his talents/gifts that I work to emulate.) My dad was a hard-worker. He was often busy at work, at home, or in his church callings.
