Rhoda L Huff (Hiatt)

SPRINGVILLE - Mrs. Wanda Huff Perry, 26, wife of Kenneth S. Perry, died Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Huff. She had been ill several months and arrived in Springville Sunday night from Seattle, Wash., where her husband had been engaged in defense work the past three years. Born in Provo October 24, 1918, she spent her early life in that city and took active part in LDS church work. She was graduated from the Lincoln high school and Sharon LDS stake seminary. Survivors include her husband and parents, a son and a daughter, Don H. Perry and Norma Perry; also six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ralph Phillips, Mrs. Esther Williams, Springville; Elmer Huff, Dietrich, Ida.; Ferron Lee Huff and Serge L. Huff, with the U.S. navy, and Golden J. Huff, with the U.S. army. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Fourth LDS ward chapel, directed by Glen A. Christensen, bishop. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler & Sons mortuary Wednesday evening, and at the home of the parents, Third East and Third North before the services. Burial will be in the Provo City cemetery.
