DAVIES - At the residence of his cousin, Mrs George Josiah Norris (Marion nee Smallwood), Pownall Street, on 27th May, Reginald Claude Davies, son of Mr and Mrs T. P. Davies, Brimfield, Herefordshire, England. Aged 25 years.
* The death occurred at the residence of Mr G. J. Norris, Pownall Street, of Mr Reginald Claude Davies, cousin of Mrs Norris, at the age of 25 years. The late Mr Davies came to Masterton about two and a half years ago from Brimfield, Hertfordshire, England, where his parents reside, to take up farming pursuits and for some time was employed at Sulphur Wells. He had suffered indifferent health for some time past. Mr Davies was well known in Masterton and was very popular among a wide circle of friends for his sterling personal qualities. The funeral will leave the residence of Mr Norris at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow.
