Geneva “Jenny” Maxwell Anderson, 73, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with her family and friends by her side. She was born on August 25, 1941 in Jacksonville, TX to the late Roy and Opal Maxwell. Jenny was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Peter (Pete) Anderson. Jenny was an advent bowler for more than 50 years attending numerous tournaments within the United States. She loved feeding and watching her hummingbirds year round. Jenny loved keeping up with her grandchildren who knew her as Nana. She always looked forward to using FaceTime with her great grandchild, Brylee. She took great pleasure in shopping, giving orders while others cooked, and just hanging out with all of her children and grandchildren, especially during the holidays.

She is survived by her brother Roy Maxwell, Jr. and family, her daughter Janoda Kay Booth Lev and husband Patrick, her son Kevin Booth, and her step-children Elizabeth & Jonathon Anderson. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Natasha Hafer and husband Aaron, Allana Briere and husband Shawn, Jenaya Lev, Samantha Lev, Jenny Ann Booth, Cessley Booth, Katie Adkins, Benjamin Nazir, and 5 great grandchildren.

Friends and Family are invited in the celebration of Jenny’s life with a visitation at 1 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 with a service to immediately follow at 2 pm. Both will be held at Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors Chapel located at 1201 4th Street in Rosenberg, TX 77471. Following the service, Jenny will be laid to rest at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery, in Rosenberg. She will be remembered as a loving and caring Mother and Nana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, MD Anderson Cancer Center, J & A Ministries, or a charity of one’s choice.
