This photo is of west side of the Marotti and Louis monument in the Catholic Block 5 Plot 235 of the Kumara Cemetery. The inscription begins with ALSO at the top. Pauline Louis. Died 30 May 1905. Aged 75 years. It is unclear if there is more at the bottom It may say that Pauline was a native of Germany. She was the wife of Daniel Louis whose inscription is in the east side of the monument. Paulina and Daniel were the grandparents of the infant Marotti whose inscription is on the front (north) side of the monument. The inscription(s) on the south side of the monument are too worn to read.
