He was a good man who loved his goats and wood burning stoves. He also loved his family, but who doesn't. He was a good father that told us funny stories about wood burning stoves and goats. He milked the goats and sold goat milk. He made enough money from this to pay the mortgage. This milk was non-pasteurized and watched him strain it was a cheese cloth and then sell it the same day. This is illegal now. Funny, he would be a criminal today for that work. I find that funny that it is illegal to sell goat milk, but selling marijuana in some states is fine. He worked with a lot of people who abused spouse and children, who drank alcohol and abused drugs. He helped many improve their life when they were destitute and in poverty. He was a kind man. He never abused or lifted his voice in anger. He taught me to play chess. He also helped me play sports. Countless hours teaching me to throw, hit, and shoot basketball. He took me hunting once. He didn't like it. I made him go. We walked around and I decided after that maybe I didn't like hunting. He back packed with me while I was a scout. He wasn't afraid of those challenges. He was soft spoken and didn't talk much. It might have been difficult for him to be with a group of adult leaders who he didn't know well. But he did it.

Life timeline of Melvin Earl Kessinger

1935
Melvin Earl Kessinger was born on 27 Aug 1935
Melvin Earl Kessinger was 6 years old when World War II: The Imperial Japanese Navy made a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, intending to neutralize the United States Pacific Fleet from influencing the war Japan was planning to wage in Southeast Asia. World War II, also known as the Second World War, was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945, although conflicts reflecting the ideological clash between what would become the Allied and Axis blocs began earlier. The vast majority of the world's countries—including all of the great powers—eventually formed two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. It was the most global war in history; it directly involved more than 100 million people from over 30 countries. In a state of total war, the major participants threw their entire economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind the war effort, blurring the distinction between civilian and military resources. World War II was the deadliest conflict in human history, marked by 50 to 85 million fatalities, most of whom were civilians in the Soviet Union and China. It included massacres, the genocide of the Holocaust, strategic bombing, premeditated death from starvation and disease and the only use of nuclear weapons in war.

Opened on October 5, 1955, as a motor inn owned and operated by Jack Wrather under an agreement with Walt Disney, the hotel was the first to officially bear the Disney name. Under Wrather's ownership, the hotel underwent several expansions and renovations over the years before being acquired by Disney in 1988. The hotel was downsized to its present capacity in 1999 as part of the Disneyland Resort expansion.

Melvin Earl Kessinger was 54 years old when Cold War: Fall of the Berlin Wall: East Germany opens checkpoints in the Berlin Wall, allowing its citizens to travel to West Berlin. The Berlin Wall was a guarded concrete barrier that physically and ideologically divided Berlin from 1961 to 1989. Constructed by the German Democratic Republic, starting on 13 August 1961, the Wall cut off West Berlin from virtually all of surrounding East Germany and East Berlin until government officials opened it in November 1989. Its demolition officially began on 13 June 1990 and finished in 1992. The barrier included guard towers placed along large concrete walls, accompanied by a wide area that contained anti-vehicle trenches, "fakir beds" and other defenses. The Eastern Bloc portrayed the Wall as protecting its population from fascist elements conspiring to prevent the "will of the people" in building a socialist state in East Germany.

Ideologically an African nationalist and socialist, he served as President of the African National Congress (ANC) party from 1991 to 1997.
