Mary was a daughter of Charles Augustus Appeldron (1860-1930) of Germany & Ann Freeman (1847-1936) of Warwickshire. She married Joseph Donnelly (1874-1951) from Tamworth in 1917. Joseph 1st married Eleanor May 'Minnie' Harrigan (1880-1949), had 3 sons then deserted the family. Joseph is buried Archer St., Minnie is buried Waipukurau
