07/03/2018DONNELLY.-The friends of the late Mrs Mary Donnelly, relict of John
Donnelly, are respectfully invited to follow her remains to their last resting-place, in the Ballarat Cemetery.
The funeral will leave her late residence, Navigators, to-morrow (Thursday, the 18th of February, at 1 o'clock.
The many friends of Mrs Mary Donnelly, another very old and much
respected resident of Navigators, will regret to hear of her death, which occurred somewhat suddenly on Tuesday last.
The deceased lady, who had been ailing for some time, was 66 years of age.
She leaves a family of daughters and sons.
The funeral of deceased, which took place on Thursday, was a very large and representative one, the procession numbering 45 vehicles.
The remains were interred in the Ballarat New Cemetery, in the grave with Mrs Donnelly's husband, who predeceased her some 17 years ago.
The coffin-bearers were Messrs 'E., M., Michael and W. Donnelly (sons of deceased), and the pallbearers were 'Messrs Wm. White, -J.P., T.' Connellan. Wm. Radcliffe and P. Donnelly (members of the H.A.C.B.S.), E. Butler, P. Butler, P. Vanotti, P. Guthrie, S. McGuigan. M. Donnelly (son-in-law), P. and M. Donnelly (nephews), W. Tobin, M. Tobin, R. Butler, J. Walsh, J. Hussy, M. Murphy, W. Gleeson(Sen.). W. Gleeson. (jun.), P. Walsh, J. Brennan. J. Donnelly (nephew), J. Guthrie, J. Mahoney, P. Vanotti(Sen.), and M. McCormick.
The service at the grave was conducted by the Rev. Father Duffy.
The funeral arrangements were carried, out by Messrs Steve Wellington and Son.
