Wife of Guiseppe Bettelani (1849-1902), buried Old Levin.

The many friends of Mrs J. Bettelani will regret to learn of her death which occurred on Tuesday at Masterton, Deceased, whose maiden name was Martha Jane White, was born in Edinburgh and was 77 years of age. After travelling in India and Australia for a number of years, she returned Home and later came out to New Zealand, settling at Ohau where she opened a store. Her husband died there about 20 years ago. Mrs Bettelani was postmistress at Ohau until 1911. Deceased had been in poor health for about six months prior to her death.
