Marion Harding passed away at his home with his sweet heart of 57 years at his side.
He was born February 7, 1906 in Provo, Utah to Alfred William and Martha Elenore Lewis Harding.
He married Ora Mae Henrichsen September 17, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Graduated from BYU, Class of '37, majoring in Economics and honorary member of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity; a member of BYU Emeritus Club and an avid BYU sports fan. He served as chairman of 1937 "Y" Day Committee. Early years employed as manager of retail grocery stores. After marriage, employed by the Utah State Agriculture Dept. Inspection Service. During World War II, he acted as price specialist in the office of Price Administration. Owned his retail paint and hardware store. Later years, employed as funeral director for Memorial Estates Mortuary.
He was an active member of LDS Church, all of his life and served in many important positions. He filled three stake missions and served as a scheduled temple worker for many years.
He was survived by wife, Ora Mae; daughter; son, 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, at 11 a.m., at the Waterloo Ward, 1623 South 500 East, where friends may call one and a half hours prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.
