An Anniversary Gift for Charles and Petrea

Contributor: Chynna67 Created: 9 months ago Updated: 9 months ago

This photo was taken in the house in Lakeview. Buena was working at the Jeppson Potato Chip Factory there. Fornia had just returned from California with her children (Kent would come later). Buena thought that a family portrait would make a nice anniversary gift for her parents and made the arrangements. The original photo was given to her parents and 8 x 10 copies were given to each of her brothers and sisters. The original now (2016) hangs in Buena's bedroom. The family was told that the famous prize fighter Jack Dempsey once lived in the house where this photo was taken.
