CHARLES S Harp, who has been welfare officer of New Paltz for a number of years died Tuesday evening in the Kingston Hospital after a brief illness in his 80th year. He had been a lifelong resident of New Paltz, and is survived by his daughter, Mrs Anna Hubbell of Poughkeepsie; a brother, Elting Harp of New Paltz, and two sisters, Mrs Maggie Schoonmaker and Mrs Emma Ross of New Paltz. He was a member of Knights of Pythias Lodge of New Paltz. Interment in New Paltz Rural cemetery. From Kingston Daily Freeman, Oct 4,1933.
