Lucille Grace Combs, 89, of Augusta, Wv passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center, Winchester, Va. Born on December 3, 1923 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Charles Reece and Ada Belle Kilcrist Reece. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Tearcoat Church of the Brethren. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Welton Combs, in 1995, and also was preceded by by four brothers: William Arthur Reece, Richard B. Reece, Robert Reece, and James Reece; four sisters: Helen Isabella Reece, Ada Mariann Reece, Myrtle A Cook, Wilma Greenway, and a step-grandson Joseph Michael Snyder. Surviving are two sons, Karl W. Combs and wife, Darlene, Roy M.Combs and wife, Roxanna, all of Augusta, a sister, Laverne E. Kiles of Cambridge, Ohio, three grandsons, Jeffrey K. Combs and wife Carolyn, Matthew Combs and wife Amanda, Travis R. Combs and fiancee, Rebecca Barnes, two step-grandchildren, Joshua A. Snyder, and Brianna N. Snyder and two great-grandsons, Jeffrey K. Combs 2nd and Andrew Combs. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 am in McKee Funeral Home Chapel Augusta with Minister John Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Tearcoat Cemetery, Augusta, WV.
