Joseph Mecham, 50, of 809 East Eighth South street, died at his home Sunday at 11 p.m. of natural causes. Mr. Mecham was born in Wallsburg, August 12, 1891, a son of Louis and Agnes Jane Hoover Mecham. He had resided in Salt Lake City nine years. He was a veteran of the World war and at the time of his death was a salesman for the Sheppard-Mack company. Surviving are his widow, Viola Taylor Mecham; a son Clifford Mecham of Salt Lake City; four brothers, William W. Mecham of Lehi, Lewis Otis Mecham of Fruitland, Ferris Earl Mecham of Virginia City, Nev., and Lynn Mecham of Provo, and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Sweat of Fruitland and Mrs. Agnes Fullmer of Salt Lake City.
