Nancy 1836 - 1928 Amanda 1838 - 1916, Albert 1841 - 1919, JA'S L 1844-1923, Addison T 1846 1936 Mary 1848 1936 Ralph 1851 1852 Harvey 1852 1889, Louisa 1855 - 1906. The Tates of Scotch descent immigrated to Ulster before coming to america, took part in the siege of londderry where ten thousand protestants perished in four months. They count amont their ancetry the great Archbishop of Canterbury, Archibald Campbell Tait. The McCampbells descended from the Argyll branch of the Campbells. This branch became protestants before the reformation. Two of the ancestry, Archibald, Duke of Argyll and sond, were beheaded for their zeal in the protestant religion in Scotland. Presented by A.T.
