Erected in memory of John Givin, Cavanmore, who died 10 August 1880 aged 74 years. Also six of his children who died in infancy. Also his wife Matilda who died 12 April 1889 aged 78 years. And his brother Robert who died in New Orleans 14 Oct 1822 aged 27 years. Also his son William Alexander who died 28 Oct 1896 aged 32 years.
