Janet Wanlass Obituary Janet Wanlass, 56, of Orem, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Janet was born December 21, 1951 in American Fork to Darrell J. and Marilyn B. Wanlass. She married Scott Brackenbury and together had two children. They were later divorced. She married Gary Kampman and was later divorced. She later met her soulmate and fiancee Scott P. Nielsen and planned to be married in the spring. Janet grew up in American Fork and graduated from American Fork High School in 1970. She had many friends and enjoyed making people laugh. What an "entertainer"! She owned and operated her own business for over 19 years. She will be greatly missed by a loving family and good friends. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life. She is survived by her fiancee Scott; two children: Jason Brackenbury, Las Vegas; Courtnee (Jeff) DeMarco, Pleasant Grove (two grandchildren: Rocco and Reggie); mother, Marilyn B. Wanlass, American Fork; four sisters: Judy (Les) Smith, Pleasant Grove; Nancy (Roger) Lindley, Pleasant Grove; Bonnie (Mark) Sykes, American Fork; Debra (Jim) MacNaughtan, Lehi and brother, Burt Wanlass, Murray. She was preceded in death by her father in 1998. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call for a visitation on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. Michael Collins piloted the command module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while they were on the Moon's surface. Armstrong and Aldrin spent 21.5 hours on the lunar surface before rejoining Columbia in lunar orbit.

The Columbine High School massacre was a school shooting that occurred on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine, an unincorporated area of Jefferson County, Colorado, United States, in the Denver metropolitan area. In addition to the shootings, the complex and highly planned attack involved a fire bomb to divert firefighters, propane tanks converted to bombs placed in the cafeteria, 99 explosive devices, and car bombs. The perpetrators, senior students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, murdered 12 students and one teacher. They injured 21 additional people, and three more were injured while attempting to escape the school. The pair subsequently committed suicide.
